Orchard Cottage makes an ideal base to explore this historic part of the Shires, a region where we think of peaceful stone villages unspoiled by 'progress', pubs with blazing log fires, long country walks and perhaps the ghostly echo of a hunting horn. All this within easy reach of all that the East Midlands and Cambridgeshire have to offer.
This beautiful cottage has been restored to a very high standard. It boasts three good sized bedrooms and sleeps up to six people. Central heating and hot water are supplied by the versatile Rayburn cooker which is a central feature of the family kitchen. Being a FOUR STAR establishment we naturally supply all cooking and eating equipment as well as linen, towels and fuel - including wood for the open fire.
Your enjoyment is our main aim and we have filled the cottage with books and games and DVDs. In the summer house you will find the out-door games such as croquet, badminton and boules, as well as a barbecue (with charcoal) and extra garden chairs and tables.
We have provided a selection of images of our lovely cottage. Just choose a room from the menu and explore Orchard Cottage for yourself.
